Udawalawe National Park - other animals

2014 February, The Long Trip - Sri Lanka, Uda Walawe NP

Uda Walawe National Park is full of elephants, which is the main reason for people to visit it. I shared a 4x4 car with 2 other people and we paid 3500 LKR (19.5e) for 4 hours. We started before 6 am and arrived at the park gate around 6:30 am, just before the sunrise. The entrance ticket cost 4700 LKR (25.20e) for two people. In the park you can also see crocodiles, peacocks, oxen, parrots, hornbills, eagles and others.
