12th October Peru (way to Cuzco)

We woke up at 7am. Obviously, around 5am we heart people on the street going to the bus stop to Machu Picchu. We ate breakfast in our hostel and went to Hydro Electrica.
The first part of our trip led in the same direction as to Machu Picchu entrance. Near the bridge, on the right, you will find stairs leading to the railway. The path led along the railway. It was a really nice walk which took us 2 hours and 30 minutes.
In Hydro Electrica we got a 'colectivo' for 4 Soles to Santa Teresa. A normal price is 5 Soles. From Santa Teresa on the way to Santa Maria (driver left us there) we got another car. An amazing trip to Santa Maria took us 1hour. The route was high in mountains with deep valleys and steep slopes below you but it didn't scare me.
We were in Santa Maria around 1pm where was a lady organisimg mini vans to Ollantaytambo for 20 Soles per person. At 1.30pm scheduled time should have been a bus which was a cheaper option.
The bus to Cuzco arrived at 3pm and we paid 15 Soles. We had our rucksacks in Ollantaytambo. The journey took us 4 hours. The baggage store was still open and we took a mini van to Cuzco for 10 Soles.
The driver was in hurry so we were in Cuzco fast. He stopped at 'Plaza San Francisco' and we went for a walk and to our hostel. Cuzco at night was so amazing and full of people.
We were also really tired.
