It's a very important place for Sri Lankan people. To explore everything you should have at last 1 hour. Inside, a movie was shown about various ceremonies they celebrate inside.
In the evening, there are local performances presenting traditional dances. It cost 500 LKR (2.73e) but if you ever visited similar shows in Asia you might be disappointed.
