Long Trip - Day 18 Queenstown
This place is an excellent destination. Mt Cook, glaciers, rivers, lakes and mountains - all nearby.
From the centre to the airport is around 8km and local transport costs 8 NZD ( bus no 11). It's crowded with tourists so hitchhiking is very popular here.
2 companies offering skydiving are here - Nzone and Paradise. You can also go for heli tours or scenic flights. The city offers many walks around, you can clinm Ben Lomond for a great city view if weather allows.
As it was my last day here I didn't have time to check out any walks.
