2013 December, The Long Trip, Vietnam - Hue
Hue is an interesting but crowded place. A lot of tourists visit it. I stayed in Hue Four Seasons Hotel which was amazing. This was the first place where I felt almost like at home. Clean rooms, helpful staff, good breakfast and quite cheap.
The place is located near the old town and close to many bars, shops and restaurants.
The main attraction is the Imperial Citadel with the Purple Forbidden City. The entrance fee is 105,000.00 VND (3.6e)excluding tombs. It wasn't crowded inside and it is a huge place so I walked around without being bothered.
The complex is surrounded by water and an old lady collected some plants when I was passing by.
In Hue are some opportunities for cycling around the city. Organised tours are also available. Like everywhere else you can buy almost everything on the street and they chase you all the time - so be prepared.
