2013 October, Long Trip - about Seoul

The city has been known as Seoul ('Capital' in Korean) since 1945.

According to 'Seoul book of everything' it has more than 10mln population and on an average day:
254 babies are born,
104 people die,
203 couples get married,
67 couples divorce,
7845 people move in or out of the city,
19 construction permits are issued.

On the south of the Anguk station is a Insadong-gil street with souvenir shops and local street food.

Bukchon, an old district is located between the Changdeokgung Palace and the Gyeongbokgung Palace - north of the Anguk station.

At Seoul post offices you can also access the Internet for free. A stamp for a postcard to Europe costs 400 KRW.

When arriving to Seoul, ask at the Information office for a free book 'Seoul book of Everything' which is a page turner.
