2013 December, The Long Trip - Thailand, James Bond Island
I booked a trip to James Bond Island. The long boat was quite big with an incredibly big engine.
Unfortunately, the weather wasn't perfect:-) If you are a group of more than 4 people it is better to do it by yourself. It was better for me to book a trip.
The first spot we visited was where 'James Bond - Man with Golden Gun' was shot.
We had only 30 minutes there but it was enough. No place for snorkeling, just sightseeing:-)
Next, we went kayaking. Surprisingly, we didn't paddle ourselves as we had a Thai guide who did the job. It was just relaxing. At the end he asked for tips.
They are really good at asking for tips even if they didn't do their job well. It seemed tips were obligatory.
The last stop was the Sea Gypsy Village. A floating village located near one rock where most of houses were built on polls in the water.
They had a few restaurants. We had our lunch in one of them. Obviously, a lot of souvenir shops.
After our long boat trip finished we went to the Monkey Temple (Wat Suwannakuha) where a lot of monkeys waited for tourists with bananas or snacks.
