2013 October - Long Trip, China, Terrcotta Warriors

2013 October, Long Trip - China,  Xian Terracotta Warriors

I woke up in the morning to be almost the first at the bus stop to catch the bus no. 306 (5). The city is so big and it took me more than 1 hour to get near the train station. Buses to Terracotta Warriors departure from a parking lot near the  train station, east side,  outside the city wall. The ticket costs 7 RMB
I was there at 8 am. Two guys asked me if I wanted to take a taxi then I saw a huge queue for the bus.  After 30 minutes I was on the bus. It took one hour  and we had only one stop -  the hot springs where most of people left. I stayed on the bus till the last stop.
I expected a lot of people but there wasn't. I bought my ticket for 150 RMB and walked to the biggest hall, Pit 1. All warriors are inside so it is a good place to visit even if it's raining.
I spent there 4 hours wandering around. There was quite a lot of people but this place is big enough and it was easy to find a spot without people to take a picture.
Pit 3 has an excellent fake place to take a picture with the warriors. As they are fake you can touch them. 1 picture costs 10 RMB. I took mine in Pit 2 and the scenery wasn't as good as in Pit 3.
